My friend and I fished with Scott at Guide You to Fish Northwest the other day, and it was a great experience from the start. Scott showed up right on time, greeted us and after that we followed him down to the river. Watching Scott set up his boat while explaining to us what was to be expected, you realize it’s going to be a great day on the river, fish or no fish. His attention to detail was impressive. He has a gentle way about him but a knowledge base for fishing and the rivers taught me more than I ever knew, and I've been fishing all my life. His boat was very comfortable, heated if needed, clean and uncluttered. We fished, he guided and taught us what to do all while keeping boat safety in mind too. Scott even pulled over at our request so that we could swing a fly from shore...when you needed gear change, Scott was at the ready and has a complete set of gear. My Father and I recently took a trip with Scott at Guide You to Fish Northwest; this was my first Steelhead trip and second time drifting a river. Scott made everything easy for us, whether meeting us at our motel or getting us to the location to fish. He had everything perfectly set up for us, especially the gear. Scott knew the river exceptionally well and pointed out certain holes where we should expect to find fish, as well as the wildlife around us. I was able to catch a 17.3 pound native buck Steelhead, took pictures and even video of the fishes release, so it could continue on it’s journey. I would absolutely recommend Scott again, and look forward to other trips with him in the future.

My son and I spent 2 days on the river with Scott at Guide You to Fish Northwest and we were impressed with his knowledge and work ethic. We spent a good 7 to 8 hours on the river and fished every run. This was no boat ride - this was hard nose fishing with someone who knew the river, fishing techniques and had the right gear and setups. It was a slow time of the year, but we caught and released 6 fish over the 2 days, with each one of us catching steelhead over 15lbs.
